Till started his career at Ogilvy & Mather in Frankfurt in 1984. After completing a traineeship as advertising assistant he began studies at the Akademie für Marketing Kommunikation (Academy for Marketing Communication) in Frankfurt, which he completed with distinction.
From 1986 to 1990 Till looked after international clients such as General Foods, Richardson-Vicks, Unilever and American Express.
In 1990 he moved to Michael Conrad & Leo Burnett, where he distinguished himself as a consultant with responsibility for the clients Braun, Burda and Reno.
In 1992 Till returned to O&M Frankfurt to head the team for
the agency's biggest client, the Deutsche Bahn.
Effective 1 January 1994, Till was transferred to Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong, where he was responsible for American Express Asia Pacific, Unilever Asia Pacific, ESPN Asia Pacific and The Really Useful Company, Hong Kong.
In late 1995 he returned to Ogilvy Frankfurt to look after the agency's new key account, the Dresdner Bank. His last position was as COO Consulting.
In July 1997 Till and his creative partner Mike Ries went into business for themselves and formed the Jung von Matt/Main agency together with the partners Holger Jung and Jean-Remy von Matt.
Till has been COO with JWT since October 2003 and is responsible for its Frankfurt, Hamburg and Düsseldorf offices.
The projects that Till developed for and with his clients have received several German and international awards, e.g., the Gold Medals from ADC, Silver in Cannes, Effies (3 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze) and the Journalists' Prize (Deutsche Bundesbahn).
Till is married to Katja and has two children,
Montgomery (14) and Morgan Lee (11).
